Oh teh noes! i am sincerely sorry....i cant say ive felt the pain of a death of a mother, but i have lost 1 set of my grandparents, and some other close relatives, so while i might not be able to fully know your loss, i somewhat know what youre going through, and i am truly sorry for your loss...

Considering what I saw happening on Just2Pale's page the other day, what I'm reading here is coming as a bit of a shock to me.

Sorry for your loss, death in the family is extremely hard and I wish you all the best. My uncle lost his lengthy battle with lung cancer not to long ago. I know how you feel.

I should also add I don't think there's solid evidence attributing birth control towards cancer. Though there may sometimes be side effects involved with taking the drugs, there is absolutely no conclusive evidence linking it to the development of cancer. It's all speculation, similar to "vacination causes autism".

Also, nobody can force you to take birth control. the very notion of that is absolutely ridiculous.

so your mother had cancer, huh

i have bad news for you.

anyway
ITS INDEPENDENCE TIME boohoo!

i offer the most heartfelt condolences. and i know how it feels to lose someone you cherish deeply. i hope you find happiness in the deepest darkness that you may find yourself in. but when something like this happens i always remember one quote "memento mori" remember you will die. it is the cycle of like we know it will happen but we are always sad when it happens.now as for the birth control pills i'd looked for those in the news because if she isn't the only one dieing then you need to sue the company that made these.

im so sorry for ur lost.

Oh.. uhm... im sorry for you. :(

btw, You're totally right. >_> Fu the pharmacy concerns. :3

You'll get over it. Or ... whatever.

*thumbs up*

sorry to hear :( (damn you society pharmacist dupers. Damn I say)

I'm sorry

sorry for your loss

Birth control causes cancer...

Yeah, you might not want to go outside ever again. Car fumes can lead to cancer. Don't go anywhere near smokers since second hand smoke can lead to cancer. Oh, and you might want to check up on the growing list of random assortment of items that cause cancer. Oh, and the sun can cause skin cancer so, again, don't go outside.

Cancer kills a lot of people, it's tragic, but to base your opinions on "but it causes cancer" is, at this point, silly because there's a much shorter list of what doesn't cause cancer than what does.

Sorry to hear that. To your credit, you seemed to stay strong on the Animutation Portal despite what was going on in life. I'll be praying for you.

I remember you telling NG about this a while ago. But you said you wanted her to die before, right?

There's a shitload of corruption in the pharmaceutical companies... At least in America. But I don't think people design them to be unsafe. What happens is that after designing a drug, after a certain amount of time the patent expires and anyone can sell that company's product. To counter this, the pharmaceuticals create new drugs after the patent expires, then advertises it. This way a company can continuously make more and more money. Sadly, the companies don't give a damn for the consumer's health and are in it for the money. BUT, they are not consciously trying to make dangerous products.

To Hibiscus- my condolences. Unfortunately my sister has to take the pill in order to regulate her PMs. I just hope she doen't misuse it.
From a Christian standpoint to those who don't care about birth control- of course contraceptives have lethal effects. as if killing the embryo isn't enough to be considered a "lethal" effect. If you want to use the pill, consider ths, you are killing something that you once were. Did your mother want you dead? are you dead? didn't think so. Why should you do any different? Btw, condoms are not too effective.
